Gearhead

Eliot has entered the information age at only 14 months old. He looks like a 15 year old here, and yes, he really was listening to music on my ipod, though he's only now learning how to program. We have to hide our digital comera, laptops, cell phones and ipods because he's addicted. So bizarre. What did kids do before the computer age? Play with twigs? I remember playing with ants in the dirt. And that was in the early 80's.

Our oldest was/is the same way. At 4, he crashed our computer because he was "snooping" ariound the general operating systems. We used to give him old VCR's to take apart and play with so he wouldn't go after our other stuff.

Awesome, Justin. I'm mostly worried because he seems to already be taking after my engineer-minded husband instead of chasing butterflies and calmly contemplating bubbling brooks, as I would like him to be. Though, I suppose, very few toddlers contemplate anything for longer than 5 seconds.

Awww! I can't believe he's the same little guy who visited my house last year. He's quite the handsome little boy now, and apparently quite techonologically inclined.

You CAN be a computer nerd and a poet, btw. ;)
